Two friends
Met on the path of knowledge
Connected through shared growth
Bonded on the matters of the heart
Separated at the age of seventeen.

Many years had passed
Many events had occurred
Much happiness were gained
Countless turbulence were faced
Ups and downs had both experienced.

Fate has planned
For these two friends to meet again
At a short time’s notice
Between work and studies
Both sat down for lunch.

How I’ve missed these conversations
Meaningful, with depth
I feel alive when I speak with you
For sincerity is our language
No barriers - there is only truth
And your heart, I could feel
As you utter your words
With tears slowly flooding
In the bowls of your eyes.

And I’m truly grateful
That you made time for me
When I really need your presence.
