Big Why

I remember this fear

The one which overwhelmed me

As I began this new journey.

It shook me up

Inside out

Made me question

My very big ‘why’.

“Why do I embark on this?

What is my intention?

What do I intend to get?”

That fear is here

As I’m spreading my wings

Further away from the ground.

So how do I fly

Without getting lost 

In the glittery skies?

Dear heart, let’s take a moment

To take a breather

To ponder

To consult 

And to pray.

Let’s pause

And ask ourselves 

What is our big ‘why’

Our intention

For that will be our compass

As we navigate 

Through the vast skies.
